Bible Verses for Encouragement

Be strong and of a good courage; be not afraid... for the LORD thy God is with thee whithersoever thou goest.

This is one of the clearest biblical calls to courage.

And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God.

God's providence gives hope even when the full picture is hidden.

Let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not.

Let us consider one another to provoke unto love and to good works: Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together.

Encouragement is often strengthened through Christian community.

Be ye stedfast, unmoveable, always abounding in the work of the Lord.

This verse calls believers to durable, hopeful faithfulness.
